Congratulations to Thay Stephenson & BullWinners of the 80km ER ride at RAF Cranwell 2009Thay says: I decided to do the 80km just to see what he could do - he did rather well (19.06 kph!). Bull has changed so much since he's had the FnE saddle and the scar tissue on his back from previous saddles has gone completely and he no longer makes a fuss about the saddle. |
Congratulations to Beth Langley & TissyWinners of the Young Riders 120km ER ride at Haywood Oaks 2009Beth says: Just to let you know: Tissy and I won the 120km at Haywood :) at 19.38kph, so now I can be confident she can do the speeds that may win the worlds this year!! We broke our presentation record its now 1min 35secs, we also had all A's in our vettings, except we had 1 B but in the re-check it was back to all A's again :) and all our ridgeways went down dramatically!! |
US debut for Endurance Pro |

Report on the first competitive outing for the Endurance-Pro at the start of the USA 2009 Season. Ridden by Emily Matthews on her horses Spice and Savanaa. Emily reports: At the weekend I did two 50 mile endurance rides on two horses at just over 17kph. For the first time ever, Savanaa did not have a sore back! When we stood for Best Condition, she got an A- so still not perfect but this is a huge improvement. Spice was all As for back all the time as always but I know she was more comfortable because she was moving out so well. Spice won her race on Saturday and Savanaa won on Sunday! Thank you! I thought of you every time I was rubbing Savanaa’s back and not seeing her flinch. I also raved about my saddle to a woman who was at her wits' end, poking more and more shims into her saddle, which was still bridging on her poor horse. What a nice start to the season. I have tested the FnE fit with the numnah removed and using the Port Lewis Impression Pad. I have never seen such a perfect impression. As for the happiness of your customer, you could hardly be doing a better job. I am being demanding, I know, but I am ecstatic to have found someone even more obsessed with good saddle fit than I am. UPDATE 3rd May 2009 - Emily's first 160km ride with the FnE saddle on Savana: Emily says:
Real Success!
I just wanted to let you know that Savanaa completed the Biltmore 100 this weekend, with As for back all the way through to the end. Our time and placing were undistinguished this time but that complete absence of soreness meant more to me than a win. It's an amazing change in her. The course was nothing but uphill and down again, very hard on the horses, and there were a ton of pulls for lameness and soreness. I passed one woman leading her horse for the entire last loop because her horse was so sore-backed.
Keep up your good work.
