FnE Adjustable Saddle Design

The FnE adjustable saddle design is based on our unique EasiFlex Tree & Panel System which moves and flexes with the horse and rider. The large surface area panels minimise the saddle pressure on the back.

The girthing is attached to a flexible bar connected low down to the front and back of the tree, so increasing stability on the horse.

The EasiFlex Panels self align under the seat and flex with the horse's shoulders at the front. Their design also isolates the front shoulder action from the rear of the panel and allows the horse to round its back when moving.

The adjustable panels are covered with a foam laminate of Poron, a high-tech urethane foam which does not compression set, and Sunmate foam which moulds to the horse's back. The Poron acts as a spring/damper system for optimum shock absorption and comfort.

The seat is designed to be adjusted so that, combined with the adjustable stirrup bar, the rider is placed in a relaxed shoulder-hip-heel balanced riding position.

The front adjustments, as well as being used in balancing the seat, are used to correct for uneven-ness in the horse's conformation or for riders with a persistent lateral bias. This is how we correct for saddles which slip to one side.

Saddle pads or numnahs are paired and fit directly onto the panels. Therefore they never pull down on the horse's wither and spine;  instead there is a clear passage along the horse's spine under the saddle.
